Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Expert Accountant to join the BCV team on a part-time, home office basis. As an integral part of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing a variety of accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations. Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and oversee the accuracy of financial records and statements in compliance with Swiss GAAP and international financial reporting standards.
Perform detailed financial analysis to identify trends, forecast financial outcomes, and provide actionable insights for decision-making.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and reconciliation of transactions.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
Collaborate with internal teams to support budgeting and financial planning processes, offering expert advice to optimize financial performance.
Ensure compliance with Swiss tax regulations and prepare necessary documentation for tax filings and audits.
Stay updated with changes in financial regulations and accounting standards, ensuring that BCV’s practices are in alignment.
Provide ad-hoc financial support and reporting as required by BCV management.
Qualifications:
Certified Expert Accountant or equivalent professional qualification in accounting or finance.
Proven experience in accounting or finance, with a strong understanding of Swiss GAAP and regulatory requirements.
Working Arrangement:
This is a part-time position requiring approximately 20 hours per week.
The role is based on a home office arrangement, with flexibility in scheduling and the opportunity for occasional meetings or training at BCV’s premises.
